She received her master's degree from Pepperdine University. Stamatina's strong cultural roots from her island in Greece give her a deep understanding of the challenges faced by young adolescents in a diverse society. She is dedicated to helping them navigate their identities while honoring their heritage. Stamatina is a resilient individual who wants to raise awareness and give back. She combines her love of fashion with psychology, pursuing her unique approach without being limited by timelines or rules.
Although she is not here to diagnose, she seeks to help, design, and promote awareness about mental health. She charts her own course because that is the only way she knows how to live. For Stamatina, societal timelines are constructed, and being authentic means looking within, learning from experiences, and expressing gratitude each step of the way.
Stamatina has worked in various fields—from the beauty industry to restaurants—shaping her beliefs about work-life balance. This creative founder admires the work of C.G. Jung. She is a spiritual, religious, and analytical thinker—a lover of life who cherishes peaceful minds, happy hearts, and resilient souls with much to offer. Since 2019, Stamatina has lived in South Texas and has spent her summers in Greece, where she rejuvenates by immersing herself in the grace, beauty, and energy of ancient lands.

Stamatina, the visionary founder of Orison, began her journey in fashion design when she earned a scholarship in 2006 by winning the prestigious Young Fashion Designer of the Year contest in Athens, Greece. Fueled by a lifelong passion for fashion and a talent for creating her collections, unforeseen circumstances temporarily led her to pause her design career. However, this detour proved transformative as she explored diverse fields and returned to academia. This path allowed Stamatina to discover her potential and understand the complexities of those around her and the world, which inspired her decision to major in psychology.
